The first secret is at the beguinning, when you have to create your character. At the end, the voice will ask you how you want to call it.

Who is the KNIGHT to be so scary ? We can guess (it's not sure) that's a Gaster's fragment. A powerfull fragment. Because they succeed to change Jevil, the court jester. They succeed to make him mad. And make him seeing the world as a game. And everyone is the participants.
Like the Jevil's spirit is a player's spirit. The body is just like Kris or Frisk finally. UNREAL. And which character is out of the game except the player ? In one word sentence: the man who speaks in hand. Or should i say Gaster. Yeah. Just that. There is surely another things but heh. that's all or not.

During the game over, if you choose 'no' it will say that the world is diving in the darkness. After that, 66 seconds laters, the game close itself. And surely more. Like his theme in every musics =)
